Welcome Anna Verschoore as New EAP Manager


Please welcome Anna Verschoore to the NIH Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS). Ms. Verschoore accepted the new federal position as EAP Social Worker and EAP Manager and will work closely with the EAP team, complementing the full range of EAP services from individual counseling to program oversight. She will carry out clinical and training responsibilities, liaison and outreach activities in response to the evolving needs for EAP support of the NIH workforce. She will play a leading role in the design and administration of EAP operations and communications as well as risk management and quality improvement programs.

Anna completed her undergraduate and graduate work at the University of Maryland. She spent the past 25 years in support of the mental health mission at the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. Anna has two young adult sons and enjoys hiking, gardening and reading in her spare time. Meditation in nature is her true passion.
