Photography Requests at NIH

Do you need a passport photo?  What about an official portrait or a headshot for your organization's webpage?  Are you hosting an event and need photography support?

All requests for photos are handled through NIH Photography in the Events Management Branch Multimedia Section.

Many NIH staff request photography support from Medical Arts, however all public affairs photography falls under NIH Events Management.  Patient photography is still separate, and the correct contacts are also listed on the Events Management webpage under the Photography section.

All photography requests must be submitted on the electronic form provided on the webpage.  The fillable .pdf form can be downloaded and electronically submitted using the "Submit" button on the form.  The Request Form should include all pertinent information about the request, your CAN, and the AO's or Designated Authorized Approver's digital signature.

A staff photographer will reach out within 48 hours of receipt to book your photography session and provide a cost estimate.

Take a moment to check out the webpage to get more information and the days and times that we have for walk-in Passport photos.

Feel free to call us at 301-496-9993 or email to NIH Photography (photo@mail.nih.gov) with any questions.

We're here to help and thank you for choosing NIH Events Management Multimedia for your photography needs.
