Everyone is invited to attend the NIH Safety, Health and Wellness Day event to be held rain or shine on Wednesday, June 28, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm, at the Clinical Center, South Lobby and Outside Area (Building 10).
This event serves to reach out to all NIH personnel in an effort to enhance employee nutrition, wellness, physical fitness, safety awareness and reduce work related injuries and illnesses. It’s jointly sponsored by the Office of Research Services, Office of Research Facilities, NIH Occupational Safety and Health Committee, IC Safety Chairpersons Committee, Laboratory Sustainability Group, and 2017 IC co-sponsor, the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
This year’s event will be greater than ever! There will be fitness and outdoor activities, safety and health demonstrations, numerous exhibits from institutes and other government agencies, food trucks and the Farmer’s Market.
