Medical Arts Appreciation to Dr. Anthony Fauci

NIH Medical Arts Designer and Illustrator, Jeffrey Everett, has spent his personal time during the COVID-19 quarantine creating amazing portrait illustrations. While portrait subjects have primarily been musicians that inspire him, Jeffrey recently created a portrait of one of NIH's finest, Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), Dr. Anthony Fauci.  Dr. Fauci was quoted in Science as saying, "I'm Going to Keep Pushing." This quote encourages every one of us to do the same.

Jeffrey joined Medical Arts in 2016, immediately improving the cool factor with his rock & roll credentials. He has designed posters, record packages and merchandise for bands, such as the Foo Fighters, Childish Gambino, Wilco, The Decemberists, Lou Reed, Social Distortion, and Jason Mraz. Jeffrey worked independently for years and still maintains his studio while bringing his award-winning design and illustration chops to the NIH. He is skilled in all visual communication areas and particularly adept with illustrative portraiture and posters. He also has experience in digital media and user interface design. Jeffrey earned an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from The School of Visual Arts in New York City, NY. His work has been published in numerous print media (Rolling Stone, Washington Post, The Design Entrepreneur, Print, Rock Sound, HOW and Communication Arts).

Dr. Fauci inspires us all during this worldwide pandemic and he has gone above and beyond to educate and enlighten us all.  The Medical Arts Team is honored to work with so many individuals dedicated to the NIH research mission.
