Join The Aging and Adult Dependent Care Committee Today!


Are you in the sandwich generation, caring for children and older loved ones? Are you aging in place and wondering about available resources? Are you a caregiver for an adult child, spouse or loved one?

The Aging and Adult Dependent Care Committee (AADCC) seeks interested NIH federal employees to serve as voting members of the AADCC for the 2027-2028 term. The AADCC promotes aging and adult dependent care and support programs for the NIH community. As a voting member, you will work with liaisons and guests to promote aging and adult dependent care resources, information and related services. You will also help to research and recommend effective actions that meet the varied needs of the NIH workforce.

The AADCC advises NIH leadership regarding aging and adult dependent care needs. Members serve a three-year term and are required to attend quarterly and subcommittee meetings each calendar year. Participation in the AADCC is an official duty, requires supervisory approval and may be included as a non-critical element on an employee's performance plan.
