International Services Portal to be Required Soon

The Division of International Services (DIS) Customer Portal is used to submit cases for Visiting Program scientists to DIS digitally. In the coming months, DIS will be sunsetting other methods of case submission and requiring the use of the DIS Customer Portal. To assist with this transition, DIS is offering office hours for Visiting Program administrative staff, scientists and approvers (such as PIs) to ask questions, receive training and discuss concerns related to the DIS Customer Portal. DIS Customer Portal Office Hours will be held the second Wednesday of every month from 11:00am to 12:00pm ET via Zoom. Information and a link to the DIS Customer Portal Office Hours is available on the DIS Customer Portal webpage of the DIS website.

The DIS Customer Portal provides access to detailed information regarding the immigration status of Foreign National (FN) Scientists in the NIH Visiting Program. This feature of the portal allows administrative staff and foreign national scientists to see real-time updates on the status of their cases. Additionally, ICO administrative staff can run a Term Report to learn not-to-exceed dates of FN scientists within their ICO.
