DOHS’ LT. McNamara Receives Prestigious Eason Award

Congratulations to Division of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) LT Kathryn McNamara for being chosen for the 2021 John C. Eason Award for Environmental Health Officers. This prestigious award reflects her contributions and service to the promotion of public health. Awarded by the Environmental Health Officers Professional Advisory Committee (EHOPAC), the recognition is a "testament to [her] dedication, hard work, and leadership in support of [the Public Health Service's] mission to protect, promote, and advance the health and safety of our Nation."

Throughout the pandemic, Kathryn provided many hours in helping maintain safety operations in the NIH vaccine clinic . She also manages the DOHS Oxygen Monitoring Program and the DOHS Fall Protection Program and is a member of the ORS and CIT Safety committees.
