DIS to Host 2021 Annual Immigration Conference Virtually

Each year the Division of International Services (DIS) welcomes hundreds of NIH administrators to our annual Immigration Conference. The DIS Immigration Conference's primary goal is to equip NIH administrative staff with the skills and knowledge they need to successfully navigate the recruitment and retention of visiting foreign national scientists in the NIH Visiting Program.

Sadly, the 2020 DIS Immigration Conference was cancelled due to COVID-19. This year DIS is happy to announce we will be reinstating our annual conference in a virtual format! The conference will take place June 7 - June 10, 2021. DIS will present multiple sessions per day and repeat sessions throughout the conference to allow for maximum participation. Session details, schedule and registration information will be posted to the DIS Annual Conference webpage.

Beyond the conference, DIS shares important immigration updates, procedural changes and event invitations throughout the year via their Administrative Staff listserv. To subscribe to the listserv, send an email to listserv@list.nih.gov with the following text in the message body: "Subscribe KEYCONS-L@listserv.nih.gov your first and last name". Contact DIS if you have difficulty subscribing to the listserv.
