Bright Horizons Back-up Care – We encourage the NIH community to learn more about and sign up to use Virtual Tutoring, Virtual Camps and Back-up Care services provided by Bright Horizons, the company NIH partners with to provide child, adult dependent and self-back-up care services to NIH federal employees and trainees/fellows. NIH Childcare Subsidy Program – The subsidy program is available to eligible federal employees with children enrolled in licensed childcare (both family and center childcare). As you are filing your 2023 taxes, keep an eye on Line 11 of your IRS Form 1040 – federal employees with a total adjusted household income of less than $100,001 could be eligible for the NIH childcare subsidy of up to $5,000 per year. Each registrant receives the webinar slide deck and supplemental resources (even if you are not able to attend in real-time).
