Virtual Tutoring Through Your NIH Back-Up Care Benefit

Great news! You can use your Bright Horizons Back-Up Care™ benefit to schedule time with an experienced tutor to help your 5-18-year-old stay on track with their homework and academics. Get instant help in 300+ subjects or targeted support in math, reading, science or social studies. You'll receive 4 hours of virtual tutoring for each 8-hour back-up care reservation.  Submit a tutoring request through the back-up care site and schedule the days and times that work best for your family. Consolidated NIH Waitlist for Child Care Needs

The NIH has contracted with LifeWork Strategies to oversee and administer a consolidated wait list for the three NIH sponsored child care centers in Montgomery County, Maryland. Resource and Referral Services

NIH Employees, Trainees/Fellows and Contractors have free, unlimited access to a Work-life Specialist, who can help you assess your parent/caregiving role and support you by providing a range of resources and referrals for children and adults. NIH has contracted with Adventist HealthCare/ LifeWork Strategies to provide a personalized professional service available at no cost between the hours of 8:00 am until 5:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday.
