Lace up your shoes, grab a coworker, and register for the 11th annual "Take a Hike Day!" This year's event will be held Thursday, June 7, with activities starting at 11:30 am with the run/walk beginning promptly at 12:15 pm To register, go to: https://go.usa.gov/xQ4GR.
All NIH staff are invited to run or walk around the perimeter of the NIH campus (approximately 3.25 miles from start to finish) – rain or shine. This event is for those at off-campus sites too! The following locations are participating: Executive Plaza, Fishers Lane, Rockledge, Two Democracy and Shady Grove. Last year, there were over 600 participants at these off-campus locations. Take this time to be active and have fun!
Show your team spirit and sponsor a water station for those thirsty runners and walkers! Tables and water are supplied – you provide the volunteers and enthusiasm. If you would like to sponsor a water station and show your IC spirit, or have any additional questions about the event, please contact Ms. Shuntrice Holloman, Division of Amenities and Transportation Services at shuntrice.holloman@nih.gov. Tables will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Please obtain your supervisor's approval before registering. Take a Hike Day is a voluntary event.
