Successful 2018 NIH Safety, Health and Wellness Day

​The NIH Safety, Health and Wellness Day was held Wednesday, June 27, at the Clinical Center – South Complex, Building 10, and deemed a great success!  

All NIH personnel were welcome to join the activities to learn about safety, health and wellness opportunities at the NIH. 

Each year, Safety, Health and Wellness Day serves to reach out to all in an effort to enhance employee nutrition, wellness, physical fitness, safety awareness and reduce work-related injuries and illnesses. 

There were many activities demonstrating work, home and recreational safety including: guest speakers, health screenings, fitness assessments, fitness classes, safety and security demonstrations, nutrition demonstrations and tastings.

Exhibitors included federal agencies that showcase nutrition, fitness and occupational health and safety information and activities.
