The Division of Scientific Equipment and Instrumentation Services (DSEIS) is hosting its second annual ULT Freezer Show in the Building 10 South Lobby from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 6.

Intramural PIs, lab managers, and other interested researchers are invited to inspect Energy Star®-certified ultra low temperature (ULT) freezers that meet energy-efficient requirements of the NIH policy on management of ULT freezers. Representatives from ULT freezer vendors will display ULT freezers that offer not only energy efficiency but also impressive storage capacity, enhanced system reliability, and high sample integrity.

Office of Research Facilities, Division of Environmental Protection staff also will be on hand to discuss the NIH ULT freezer policy and the Energy Star® rating for ULT freezers.

DSEIS staff will be available to answer questions about options for obtaining and maintaining ULT freezers and other scientific equipment. For more information about DSEIS, visit https://dseis.od.nih.gov.
